Treating Wide Hair Parting in a Singaporean Woman with FUE
Ms. Lim, a 29-year-old marketing executive from Singapore, sought help for a visibly widening hair parting, a common form of female pattern hair loss exacerbated by the humid climate and styling stress. After a detailed scalp analysis, our Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) technique was recommended to restore density naturally.
Using a motorized sharp punch (0.8mm), approximately 1,200 grafts were meticulously implanted into the thinning area along the parting. The precision of the FUE technique allowed for the strategic placement of grafts to recreate natural hair direction and coverage, with minimal disruption to the scalp.
At the 6-month follow-up, Ms. Lim's hair parting showed significantly improved density and a seamless, natural-looking result. The transplanted hairs integrated perfectly with her existing hair, allowing her to style freely with renewed confidence. This case highlights the effectiveness of FUE in addressing the specific concerns of female pattern hair loss, even in challenging environmental conditions.
